Support
Two ways to reach the editor of MarkDown One.
From inside the application
Open Help › Contact the Editor…, choose a category, write what happened and press Send. This is the better route: the form can attach the version of MarkDown One, the edition, your operating system version and your interface language, which are usually the first four things worth knowing about a problem. That attachment is a tick box and you can turn it off and still send the report.
There is an optional field for your e-mail address. Leaving it empty is fine, and the report still arrives — but without an address there is no way to answer you.
When a report is accepted you are shown a reference like
FB-7H2K9Q4M. Quote it if you write again about the same
thing.

What helps
- What you were doing, and what happened instead.
- Whether it happens every time, or once.
- Your platform and the version of MarkDown One — both are shown in Help › About MarkDown One.
- For an import or export problem: what the document contained, in general terms. Please do not send confidential documents.
MarkDown One is developed by one author. Every message is read, and answered where an answer is possible — but there is no support contract behind this page and no guaranteed response time, and it would be dishonest to print one.
Your data
What a report contains, where it goes and how long it is kept is set out in the Privacy Policy.
